Instructions for use

Surface preparation

CONSTRUCTION CHEMISTRY

Expanmarble* Sealer

Prior to the application of Expanmarble* Sealer slightly
damp the surface with water.
Use standard paint brush or paint roller to apply
Expanmarble* Sealer on well prepared surface,
non-porous surface required single coat, and porous
surface required two to three coats, consult Fospak
technical department for the recommendation.

Prior to the application of Expanmarble* Sealer, properly
mix the material, shake the bottle or can properly, if
using large drums roll well before application.
· Wet areas – kitchens and bathrooms
Cleaning
Coverage
Expanmarble* Sealer should be removed from tools,
equipment with clean water immediately after
use. Cured material can only be removed
mechanically.

Limitations
Rate of application always depend on type of surface,
normal rate of application for porous surface is 3–5
m² / Liter / coat and for non-porous surface 4–8
m² / Liter / coat.

Expanmarble* Sealer is a high quality polymer
based sealer especially design for the sealing of
porous tiles prior to the fixing, to minimized the
penetration of moisture, salts and chlorides from
bottom of tiles, suitable for marble, granite, concrete
and clay tiles, suitable for but not limited to:
· Shopping malls, Restaurants, Tile claddings etc.
Expanmarble* Sealer is polymer based white liquid
sealer, ready to use at prepared surfaces.

Apply Expanmarble* Sealer on well prepared surface,
Expanmarble* Sealer seal the surface and
stop the penet rat ion of any pigment, moistur,
salts and chlorides and keep the white
marble/granite brighter for longer period of time.
Expanmarble* Sealer should not be used
when the temperature is below 5°C and falling.
The product should not be exposed to moving
water during application. If any doubt ar ise
concerning temperature or substrate conditions,
consult your local Fospak Expanchem office.
· Keep the white marble bright for longer period
· Excellent adhesion with marble, granite, cement &
clay tiles.

· Water proof
· Good slip resistance, provides excellent
adhesion of bedding mortar with tile
· Can be used in totally submerged conditions
