Basic Application Guidelines

• Surface Preparation: All ferrous surfaces must be completely clean and free of oil, grease, mill scale, rust, and existing coatings (preferably via grit blasting or wire brushing). Do not use phosphoric acid-based rust removers.
• Mixing & Application: Stir thoroughly prior to and periodically during use to maintain consistency. Apply liberally at temperatures above 5°C without over-brushing.
• Overcoating: Allow the coating to weather for at least 3 days before overcoating with non-saponifiable topcoats, such as solvent-based acrylic or chlorinated rubber material
